Madison Browne is one of Australia’s most exciting young netballers. Since making her debut with the Melbourne Kestrels in 2006, Madison has steadily progressed through the ranks and is now the Vice Captain of the Melbourne Vixens in the ANZ Championship and a member of the Australian Diamonds team. Madison produced a breakout year in 2012, which saw her sweep every major individual award available, including ANZ Championship player of the year, Australian International Player of the Year and the Liz Ellis award for Netball Australia’s best player for 2012.

Madison is known for her speed and all-round athleticism as a centre court player.  Her physical prowess has also seen her earn the title of ‘Australia’s Fittest Netballer’ in 2011 and 2012. Despite this natural ability she has had to make significant sacrifices along the way to reach her goals. This has included moving away from the comforts of her home to play for the West Coast Fever in Perth. Madison also juggles her netball ambitions with a full-time job as a qualified teacher and mentoring role of young aspiring netballers. She is able to provide young athletes with valuable knowledge on how to effectively manage their time and live a balanced lifestyle.
