• Bachelor Degree in Exercise and Sport Science
• Level 2 Australian Strength & Conditioning Association Coach
• Level 1 Sports Powerlifting/Weightlifting Coach

• Currently Completing Masters in Sports Coaching

• Head of Strength & Conditioning Calder Cannons FC (2011 to Present)
• Strength & Conditioning Coach Calder Cannons FC (2008 - 2011)
• Strength and Conditioning assistant Coburg FC (2008)
• Trained with Victorian junior weightlifting team
• Presenter at Level 1 and Level 2 AFL coaching qualifications (Physical Preparation)

Throughout his work with TAC Cup side Calder Cannons Steve has been a part of the staff team that were involved in back to back premierships in 2009 and 2010. During this time he has contributed to the physical development and performance enhancement of over 30 players who have been drafted into the AFL.

With experience and mentoring from elite level Strength and Conditioning Coaches Steve has developed programs that effectively develop younger players. In particular he aims to empower young athletes to control their own physical development by interactively teaching them skills, rather than only instructing them.
